The Shiv Sena is passing through its worse crisis as in the internal turmoil and infighting between the various folds and interests in the region’s political party have led to the near toppling of the erstwhile Sena rule in Maharashtra as a sudden saffron sweep over the legislative and political firmament in Maharashtra. The manner in which the rebel members of the legislative Assembly were taken away to a resort in Guwahati has contributed as a major consequence which might lead to the toppling of the Shiv sena Government in Maharashtra and the re emergence of the saffron brigade in Maharashtra.
The popular web portal First Post reports that, “Maharashtra Tourism Minister Aad itya Thackeray on Monday claimed 15 to 20 Shiv Sena MLAs who have joined the rebel camp are in touch with him and have urged the party to bring them back to Mumbai from Guwahati, where they are lodged in a hotel along with Cabinet minister Eknath Shinde whose rebellion has pushed the MVA government into a major crisis. Addressing Shiv Sena workers in Karjat, on outskirts of Mumbai, Thackeray, who has been doing firefighting to save the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government, said every party worker is seeing the current situation as an opportunity and not as a problem. "The dirt has gone away. Now we can do something good," Thackeray said, referring to the rebel MLAs. The Shiv Sena leader, the son of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, said before the 21 June revolt there were murmurs that some developments will take place in the party, which heads the MVA that also comprises of the NCP and the Congress.”

Taliban has emerged and has always been a tangible threat to South Asian and global peace and stability specializing as a terror agent and terror instrumentality in the larger context of global terrorism. India has been faced with the scourge of cross border and Pakistan sponsored terrorism since the late eighties in the last century but the manner in which the Americans withdrew from Afghanistan leaving an unfinished task and global peace agenda, has led the South Asian firmament to be hijacked by the terror mongers with the Islamic Republic of Pakistan acting as a staple fare of aiding and abetting terrorism in India and the larger South Asia.
The United States and the Taliban plan talks Thursday in Qatar on unlocking some of Afghanistan's reserves following a devastating earthquake, officials said, with Washington seeking ways to ensure the money goes to help the population.
The news portal NDTV informs us about the impending negotiations between the White House along with Kabul denomination ruled by the Taliban. The news portal informs us that, “The White House said it is working "urgently" on the effort, but a member of the Afghan central bank's board said it could take time to finalise. The Taliban's foreign minister, Amir Khan Muttaqi, arrived in the Qatari capital Doha along with finance ministry and central bank officials for talks, Taliban foreign ministry spokesman Hafiz Zia Ahmed said.”
The NDTV news portal further informs us that, “The State Department said its envoy on Afghanistan, Tom West, would take part and said the United States was focused on a range of interests including human rights and opening schools for girls. "None of these engagements should be seen as 'legitimising' the Taliban or its so-called government but are a mere reflection of the reality that we need to have such discussions in order to advance US interests," said a spokesperson for the US State Department, which does not recognize Taliban rule over Afghanistan.The Taliban took over in August 2021 after the United States gave up a 20-year military effort. Washington at the time froze $7 billion in reserves and the international community halted billions in direct aid that Afghanistan and its population of roughly 40 million people had relied on.” The currency has collapsed and the country descended into a serious economic crisis, although some assistance has been restored.
Afghanistan was besieged by an earthquake not long time back. a Last week's 5.9-magnitude earthquake in eastern Afghanistan, which killed more than 1,000 people and left tens of thousands homeless, adds urgency to the funding debate. "Negotiations are underway and it is our expectation that a final proposal under discussion will be finalised," said Shah Mehrabi, member of the Supreme Council of the Central Bank of Afghanistan. However, details on "the mechanism to transfer the reserves to the Central Bank has not been finalised," he told AFP. "It is going to take a while. These things do not happen overnight." The Americans are helping out with New Delhi for quake relief in Kabul and India too played a prominent role as a key negotiator in the Doha rounds of talks while the Karzai Regime collapsed despite the American and the larger western support.
