VISAKHAPATNAM LOCAL BRANCH
In the year 1996 formal Visakhapatnam Local Branch of IIPA was started but in the year 2000 it was recognised by IIPA. Prof. T. Appa Rao of Political Science and Public Administration Department of Andhra University was the founder Chairman of the Local Branch and Prof. EA Narayana of Political Science and Public Administration Department of Andhra University was the founder Secretary. Prof. R. Sudharsana Rao of Economics Department of Andhra University was the Vice Chairman. Prof. KS Challam of Economics of Department of Andhra University and Director of Academic Staff College of Andhra University became the Chairman and Prof. Padma of Political Science and Public Administration Department of Andhra University became the Secretary. After this, Prof. EA Narayana of Political Science and Public Administration Department of Andhra University became the Chairman and Prof. R. Sudharsana Rao of Economics Department of Andhra University became the Vice Chairman.
At present, Prof. R. Sudarsana Rao, former Vice Chancellor is the Chairman and Dr. P. Premanandam, Department of Political Science & Public Admn., Andhra University is the Hony. Secretary of the Branch. Prof. N. Sambasiva Rao of Commerce and Management Studies, Andhra University is the Vice Chairman of the Branch.
