Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh branch came into existence in sixties of last century. chief secretary was the ex officio chairman and secretary was appointed by him. in 1996 new rules were drafted and chairman and executive committee was ledges very two years. the branch was also allotted a room in the academy of administration and has been functioning from since then. regular meetings are held and various subjects of administrative importance discussed therein.
