Programme on Innovations in Organizational Management
A fifteen day programme on Innovations in Organizational Management was organised by IIPA in association with University of Canberra, Australia and Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand from December 1-15, 2025. The objective of the programme was to learn evidence-based best management practices. During the programme the participants were able to learn about: Innovations in organizational management; transformational leadership for success; tri-lateral India, Australia and New Zealand; digital innovation in policing; best practices; etc. Around fourteen participants attended the programme. Dr Saket Bihari was the programme coordinator.
Programme for Royal Bhutan Police Officers on Leadership for 21st Century Professionals Women
A ten-day training programme for Royal Bhutan Police Officers on Leadership for 21st Century Professionals Women only was organised by IIPA from December 1-10, 2025. During the programme, the officers were be able to learn about: Leadership in the 21st Century- Traits, Styles and Challenges in Policing; Emotional Intelligence and stress management in high pressure situations; Delhi Police Academy Visit and discussion on leadership role in gender sensitive policing (handling case of domestic violence and sexual harassment, trafficking); Work life balance and Mental well being in policing; Organised and Transnational Crime – Drug trafficking, Human Trafficking, Money Laundering; Emerging Technologies (AI, Drones, Data Analytics, Predictive Policing); Women Police as First Responders in Emergency Calls (ERSS/helplines); Outbound Learning Communication, Leadership skills, Team Building; India Bhutan Relationship: Security and Strategic Cooperation; etc. Dr Surabhi Pandey was the programme coordinator.
Programme on Data Analytics and Financial Modelling
A two-week international training programme on Data Analytics and Financial Modelling was organised by IIPA in association with ITEC from December 2-15, 2025. The objective of the programme was to promote and provide for the study of public administration and economic and political science with special reference to public administration and the machinery of government. During the programme the participants will be able to learn about: exploratory analytics and data visualization; art of story- telling; descriptive analytics; financial modelling; investment decisions; predictive and perspective analytics in government policy formulation; open government data; big data analytics in planning; data verification & AI solutions; business valuation models; etc. Around thirty-two participants attended the programme from: Antigua and Barbuda; Bhutan; Botswana; Ethiopia; Ghana; Indonesia; Laos; Sri Lanka; Mauritius; Niger; Nigeria; South Sudan; Tajikistan; Tanzania; Vietnam; Zambia; Zimbabwe. Dr Roma Debnath and Dr Pawan K Taneja were the programme coordinators.
Foundation training programme for Indian Telecommunications Services and Indian Radio Regulatory Service Officers Trainees
A foundation training programme for Indian Telecommunications Services and Indian Radio Regulatory Service Officers Trainees ITS 2024 Batch and IRRS 2024 Batch was organised by IIPA in association with National Communications Academy (T), Department of Telecommunications, Govt of India from December 8, 2025- January 16, 2026. The objective of the programme was to focus on familiarizing the participants with the environment of political, economic, social, and administrative issues through a well defined programme. During the programme the participants will be able to learn about: Research Methodology in Public Administration, Digital Transformation in Governance, Good Governance and Citizen Centric Administration, Cyber Security and Cyber Hygiene, Consumer Protection Act, Urban Development, Indian Companies Act, Public Policy, Public Service Delivery, etc. Around twenty-three participants attended the programme. Programme Coordinators were Dr Roma Debnath and Dr Kusum Lata.
Training programme on Human Resource Management for Chief Engineers of MES
A two-week training programme on Human Resource Management for Chief Engineers of MES was organised by IIPA in association with Military Engineer Services, Ministry of Defence, Govt of India from December 8-19, 2025. The objective of the programme was to provide the participants with a set of essential human relation and conflict management skills that would contribute to their interpersonal effectiveness at work. During the programme the participants will be able to learn about: Managing Human Resources, Effective Communication, Stress and Health Management, Conflict Management, Disciplinary proceedings, etc. Around twenty-two participants attended the programme. Programme coordinators were Prof Neetu Jain and Dr Shweta Mittal.
Workshop on Artificial Intelligence for Secure and Efficient Digital Identity
A one-day workshop on Artificial Intelligence for Secure and Efficient Digital Identity was organised by IIPA in association with UIDAI on December 8, 2025. Shri Bhuvnesh Kumar, IAS, CEO, UIDAI was the keynote speaker. The objective of the programme was to empower stakeholders within the digital identity landscape with knowledge, tools, and strategic framework. During the programme the participants were able to learn about: AI and Generative AI; AI capabilities in security, predictability and risk pattern identification; Designing Public Services with AI and problem identification and demonstration of AI PoC; Risks and Regulation. Around forty-seven participants attended the workshop. Dr Surabhi Pandey was the programme coordinator.
Induction training programme for newly recruited Deputy Directors in ESIC
An induction training programme for newly recruited Deputy Directors in ESIC was organised by IIPA in association with Employees’ State Insurance Corporation, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Govt of India from December 15-19, 2025. The objective of the programme was to make participants aware about various organisational aspects. During the sessions, the participants were able to learn about: Good Governance and Citizen Centric; Administrative Law; Ethics in Governance; Change Management; Digital Transformation; Effective Service Delivery; etc. Around eighteen participants attended the programme. Prof Neetu Jain and Dr Shweta Mittal were the programme coordinators.
Training programme of ICMR Scientists (Scientist B, C & D)
An eight week induction training programme of ICMR Scientists (Scientist B, C & D) was organised by IIPA in association with Indian Council of Medical Research from December 15- Feb 6, 2026. The objective of the programme was to nurture a new generation of scientist-administrators enabling them to lead, innovate and contribute to national development through science and technology.
During the programme, the participants were able to learn about: Future tech focus; Science and Governance; National Vision Driven; Ethics and Communication, Project Management; Sustainability and SDGs; etc. The inaugural occasion was graced by Ms Manisha Saxena, IRS, Sr. DDG, ICMR, Dr. Richa Pandey, ICAS, Sr. FA, ICMR, Shri Jagdish Rajesh, DDG, ICMR. Around thirty-nine participants attended the programme. Prof. V. K. Sharma and Dr Surabhi Pandey were the programme coordinators.
IIPA Lit Fest - Kartavya Dialogue
IIPA organised IIPA Lit Fest - Kartavya Dialogue on December 18, 2025. Five books on Public Administration and Governance were discussed and reviewed in the presence of the respective authors. They were: 1. You Can Make it Happen by Anil Swarup with Panelists: C. Sheela Reddy & Sachin Chowdhry; 2. The Great Conciliator: Lal Bahadur Shastri and the Transformation of India by Sanjeev Chopra with Panelist: Roma Debnath; 3. Viksit Bharat@2047 Governance Transformed by C.K. Mathew, S.N. Tripathi, C. Sheela Reddy and A.P. Singh with Panelists: Charru Malhotra & Saket Bihari; 4. Public Administration: Premises and Practices by Ramesh K. Arora with Panelists: Rajvir Sharma & Mamta Pathania; and 5. Administrative History of India since Independence by S.N. Tripathi, Suresh Misra, Mamta Pathania with Panelists: Inderjeet Singh Sodhi & Amit Kumar Singh. The event was coordinated by Prof Suresh Misra and Shri HC Yadav with the assistance of Publication Division of IIPA.
NAMAMI GANGE
Under the IIPA-led "Blended Capacity Building Programme for the Stakeholders of river Ganga-Phase II" sponsored by National Mission for Clean Ganga, 85th School Capacity Building Programme was organised with Utkramit Uchch Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Katihar in Bihar from December 22-23, 2025. A total of 85+ students and 5 Master Trainers participated in the programme. Project Investigator Shri Vinod Kumar Sharma interacted with students and Master Trainers empowering them with knowledge, skills and responsibility towards Ganga conservation and sustainable water use. Shri. Amitabh Ranjan, Registrar, IIPA, New Delhi also engaged with the participants highlighting their role in the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047.

The 15th Pension Adalat was conducted by Department of Pension and Pensioners' Welfare at IIPA on December 26, 2025. Ms. Rachna Shah, Secretary, DoPT, DARPG and DOPPW in her address lauded the initiative of conducting the Pension Adalat particularly during the Good Governance week.
On the occasion of the 101st Birth Anniversary of Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, celebrated as सुशासन दिवस (Good Governance Day), IIPA and Sardar Patel Institute of Public Administration (SPIPA), Gujarat entered into MoU in presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel, for Capacity Building of Government Officials and exchanges in the field of Research and Training on December 25, 2025. The event heralds a long term sustained relationship between the two Institutions.

K. Mishra, Principal Secretary to the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India was the chief guest during the occasion.

Karnataka Regional Branch
The branch with the active collaboration of the Centre for Political Institutions, Governance and Development (CPIGD) of the Institute for Social and Economic Change (ISEC), Bengaluru, organized a three-day National Seminar on “Governance and Welfare Measures in India: Policies, Challenges, and the Way Forward” from December 17-19, 2025 in the premises of ISEC, Bengaluru. The Inaugural Address was delivered by Shri T.M. Vijay Bhaskar, IAS (Retd.), former Chief Secretary of Karnataka and Chairperson of the branch. The Keynote Address was delivered by Prof. Prakash C. Sarangi, former Vice-Chancellor of Ravenshaw University, Cuttack. Prof. Parmod Kumar, Acting Director, ISEC welcomed the gathering. Introducing the seminar, Prof. V. Anil Kumar, Head, CPIGD, ISEC also spoke during the occasion. The Panel Discussion focused on the theme ‘State, Welfare, and Political Economy.’ Chaired by Shri T. M. Vijay Bhaskar, the panel brought together Prof. Narender Kumar of Jawaharlal Nehru University, Prof. K. Srinivasulu of Osmania University, and Prof. Ashutosh Kumar of Punjab University. The Valedictory Address was delivered by Prof. Himanshu Prasad Roy of Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Dr. Ashok Dalwai, IAS (Retd.), Chairman of the Board of Governors of ISEC, made pertinent observations on the theme of the seminar. Ms. Dipanwita Jena, Ph.D. scholar, CPIGD, ISEC, summarized the seminar. Mr. T.M. Vijay Bhaskar, IAS (Retd.), Chairperson, of the branch presided over the Valedictory Session. Dr. D. Jeevan Kumar, Secretary, of the branch proposed a vote of thanks. The seminar was very organized by Prof. Anil Kumar Vaddiraju, Head, Centre for Political Institutions, Governance and Development at ISEC, assisted by his colleague Dr. K.C. Smitha and their team of doctoral researchers.
Tamil Nadu Regional Branch
The branch in association with the Department of Public Administration of AM Jain College Meenambakkam Chennai held an awareness programme on the UPSC and conoaruve examinations on December 18, 2025. Dr. Sangita, Head of the Department of Public Administration welcomed the gathering and S S Jawahar, IAS (Retd.), Hony Secretary of the branch delivered the special lecture and interacted with the students and cleared their doubts.
